Camden is also noted for having some fabulous pubs, one such place, The Edinboro Castle, is a particular favourite of ours. It is tucked away down a side street a short walk from the main drag and we made hard work of finding it so it was quite a relief when we eventually did..
Even though it wasn't even 12.30pm we were more than ready for a drink but were almost spoilt for choice with the selection of ales, ciders and world beers that were on selection. Shelley's eyes lit up when she saw her favourite Aspall cider on draught whilst I went for a Hopback Winter Lightning which I must say has to rank as the best beer I had tasted thus far in 2014.
It was a good job we arrived early, the pub does a mean Sunday lunch and was booked up for food all afternoon. We both enjoyed a traditional Sunday dinner of roast beef with all the trimmings, though I would like to offer a word of word of warning, don't use too much mustard as it blows your head off as Shelley found to her cost !!
